CSR Project with Tribal School Children : On 28th June 2016, GIC Re, Mumbai, adopted Dahigaon Jamghar Madhyamik Shala, tribal school at Murbad Taluka, Thane District to provide school Uniforms and sets of Benches for the children .
This school situated at Dahigaon-Jamghar village 35 km from Kalyan city and 15 km from Murbad Bus depot at Thane. It is not affiliated with government. So there is no any government aid. The school is from VIII Std to X Std. There are 153 students all together among that there are 84 boy students and 69 girls.
NGO is thankful to Mrs.Jayashree Prabhu & Mrs. Medha Parulkar, Senior Managers from GIC Re, whose personal effort to take up this project and support the cause.
