The ECGC Limited is a company wholly owned by the Government of India based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, which is committed on Swachh Bharat Mission to eliminate open defecation and improve solid waste management in urban and rural areas. In part of this project Corporate adopted 3 Tribal Residential Schools for CSRInitiative of Sanitation projects at remote area in Murbad and Sahapur talukas. Mr. Shivaji Narvekar, GM of the company personally scrutinized and choose 3 schools for the projects.
The company executives attended the event from all the way from Mumbai to inaugurate and open for the using for the children at 2 area. On 29th February 2020, by Ms. Rosemary, Asst. General Manager.- CSR,Mr. R.T.Hande, Asst.General Manager – Marketing, Mr.Pankaj Jadhav, Manager – Admin.,and Mr.Piyush Pallav, Asst. Manager –Marketing attended the events. A Pledge on ‘Clean & Green Village and No use of Plastic’ was taken by the children and Teachers. The children presented cultural program with dance and singing.
* 1st Tribal School developed with 9 Blocks of Sanitation – 4 Blocks of Toilets & 5 Blocks of Bathrooms for Boys at Tribal Residential High School,Talavli, Murbad Taluka, Dist. Thane, Maharashtra.
*2nd Tribal School developed by 10 Blocks of Sanitation – 5 Toilet & 4 Bath rooms Blocks for Boys and 5 Toilet & 4 Bath rooms Blocks for Girls at Tribal Residential High School Gandulwad, Shahpur Taluka, Thane, Maharashtra.
